CNC Production Superintendent

General Description:

Responsible for all activities related to the production process, work instructions, continuous improvement, and safety of the CNC machines and CNC department personnel.

Reports To: 

Production Manager

Responsibilities:

• Operation, repair and programming of lathe equipment.
• Operation, repair and programming of milling machine, HASS and Okuma.
• Interpretation of geometric planes and tolerances.
• Leadership and management of CNC production personnel.
• Management of AutoCAD design software.
• Work closely with manufacturing engineer and planning analysts to schedule workflow to assure timely delivery of finished parts.
• Upgrade and maintain machinery, order parts, and ensure repair records are documented.
• Participate in weekly production meetings with manufacturing supervisors.
• Train and guide CNC machinists.

Requirements:

• Engineering degree with 5-10 years experience in CNC maintenance.
• Knowledge in production, computer and manufacturing systems.
• Interpretation of geometric planes and tolerances.
• Experience in design of tools and fixtures, calibration and cutting equipment.
• Valid and current US passport required.
